I’ll be heading up North with my good friend, and one of my hunting mentors, Dr. Adam Ahlers. Adam is a wildlife ecologist by trade, and a professor and Kansas State University. Last year Adam and I went on a teal hunt. I loved that we met our limit within the first couple hours but the true victory of the hunt was the vast amount of wildlife knowledge Adam shared with me during that hunt.
I know literally nothing about rough grouse or woodcock but I’m confident by the time we finish the drive from Kanas to Minnesota, Adam will have filled my brain with more information on the species than my simple brain can handle.
